I've been reloading .45ACP for about year now. I've been shooting them out of my Glock 21 and a 1911 Colt without any problems. I just recently purchased a used HK USP Compact and it is having problems with my reloads. It will shoot some of them fine. The biggest problem I'm having is it will chamber fine, but once it is chamber and fired the shell won' eject or if you chamber it and decide to rack it back to load another bullet it won't. I then have to get my cleaning rod t-handle and push then bullet back or the spent shell to get it free. I've take the barrrel out and my reloads fit fine in it. I have no problems with factory ammo in it. I'm use the Lee Deluxe carbide set with the FCD. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

Has the brass been previously fired in your Glock? The Glock chamber allows brass to expand more than usual at the case bottom just ahead of the extractor groove. Usually not a problem with once-fired, but after several loadings it can cause exactly the problem you are quoting. Standard dies don't size down far enough to correct the problem. That is why some brass-resellers offer roll-sizing, which does correct it. Evolution Gun Works sells modified Lee dies that will supposodly correct this also.

Thanks, that is probally what the problem is. I would say all of the once fired brass I have either came form me shooting it out of my Glock or 1911 and the rest came from the Sheriff's Office range where they have nothing but Glocks. Do you have a web site or phone number for the company you mentioned?

I've never had a problem with normal Lee sizing dies getting out "Glock Buldge" in my .40 S&W brass and if the rounds drop in and out of the chamber fine they SHOULD be OK in the resizing department.

Try this test. Drop in just a resized case and then compare it to a loaded round you drop in. Do they both go in the same distance? If not, could be the bullet is hitting the throat or lands of the HK and sticking when the slide forces it the rest of the way in.

Other than that, I'm kind of at a loss given what we know so far.

I think Chuck hit the nail on the head. I took 4 PMC factory ammo rounds, fired 2 out of the HK and fired two out of the Glock. I ran them through my resizing die, and the ones that came out of the Glock seem a wee bit tighter and stick out just the slightest bit more than the ones that were fired out of the HK.
