Wanted a 9mm range gun as I wanted to shoot something other than my CCW. Set a budget of $400. Picked up this NIB SW9VE today for $348 OTD (this includes taxes and fees). If the weather behaves, hitting the range this weekend.

Not new to firearms but new to 1911's. Haven't shot one since I got out of the Army 23 years ago. Anyway, picked up this slightly used Springfield yesterday and have already made my first range trip. Needless to say, I'm hooked.

I inherited a 30-40 Krag from my FIL who passed away in October. Only other rifle I have is a Model 270 22LR Winchester. BUT given the way things have been going, thinking it might be a good idea to have a few rounds of this ammo? Is this still made? Looking at web sites haven't found any...
