You can dump sand in the AK and it will still run

Actually I dont even hear it to be honest. Rifleman is pretty tactful with his arguments, although laced with profanity - I agree.

You can dump sand in the AK and it will still run

I think we are all big kids here. Nah he's just sick of complainers arguing about why the AK sucks and saying it the way it is This is probably the best post so far.

You can dump sand in the AK and it will still run

Maybe you didnt understand me, I know the AK can be broken - if you take a hammer to anything it will break. My point is that the dust cover basically prevents most dirt (especially the large pieces) from dumping into the receiver. This is a duh fix and when Scottsdale Rick (which is who made...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

Valid argument highorder, but there is a dealer who test fires all the CAI weapons that come through their door (the link is posted somewhere in this thread, earlier on). Furthermore they match the AIM Surplus price. Thats end of story as far as Im concerned. I am not going to buy anyother...

You can dump sand in the AK and it will still run

This video got shot to pieces by rifleman channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXgaJV05_9g) They leave the dust cover open so all the dirt falls into the receiver. Of course it wont work. Its like opening the bolt on an AR-15 and dumping dirt into there, forget about it. AK 47s are very...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

Bah, thats like saying its not the parents fault the kid is an F up. There is a reason why technology based industries use a system of checks and balances, such as Microsoft, Boeing, right down to the pilot before takeoff. Im not saying everyone other than AIM does this, nor should it be that...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

How could you construe something so badly? I am refering to AIM's policy when it comes to pre-firing weapons before shipping, in other words they dont. Ive bought several firearms from AIM and love them, but this time they sold me a bum rifle. Try watching my video review next time and you'd...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

No they are not real H&K barrels, made in the USA somewhere (probably CAI contract work). As for the C93, Im just going to get a refund. I need the money right now anyway and I dont feel like fing around with this gun anylonger. In the future I may decide to buy another one but it wont be from AIM.

C93 Range Report, we got problems

These are not reloaded, they are sold by the box of 50, new condition 55 grain (as in never used). I got the word from the lady working at USA Ammo, this is the same ammo the US Government buys out, which is why they are not always selling to the public (She said when the government starts...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

As a matter of fact I did do a bolt gap measurment, as Id heard rumors and horror stories of these coming with out of spec bolts. The bolt gap is nothing, I used a set of feeler gauges and couldnt find any gap between the carrier and the bolt when depressed (rollers locked). As for the rollers...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

Yeah thats what I gathered as well, the chamber is fluted like that. What Im wondering = is that normal for casings to get scored inside the chamber or is something wrong. The guy at the range (same one who gave me the steel .223) thought it could be the recoil spring slamming the round home too...

C93 Range Report, we got problems

Yes this is from a new gun, its called the C93 Sporter from Century Arms. Yes I know Century Arms is known for some faulty products. I have owned CAI products before and never had problems. Detail: Today I figured Id go out and put some rounds through my new C93 I bought myself for christmas...

    Mauser complete take down

Hey everyone, just wanted to throw the link up for my new Mauser mini-series. I am in the midst of completely refinishing the 98k rifle and know some of you have been asking questions about the rifle so figured this would help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXSpLQC97cc

    K98 Info?

Romaniking: I bought my 98k a few years back from an online store (might have been AIMSurplus), it was around $200 which for an all original german build is very good. I dont know if this price has changed much but I dont see german ones much anymore. I would recommend them, they are an...

    C93 Sporter .223 or 5.56?

Thanks for the info, but this doesnt answer my question.

    C93 Sporter .223 or 5.56?

So I just bought one and I'm starting to wonder if my latest binge-buy of .223 was the right choice. I never gave it much thought but after reviewing the details the gun is universally advertised as a 5.56/.223 rifle. Truthfully there is no such thing, as a weapon is truely designed for only 1...

Looking for a mossberg side saddle

Well actually I would much prefer the side saddle which attaches itself opposite the ejection side, but I've heard they have clearance issues with some Mossberg pump actions... Any advice?
