I go to the Monroe show a couple of times a year. I am not a member, I just go to buy the occasional accessory mags/holsters/ammo etc. I have seen very poor gun safety on both sides of the tables there. I think with that many guns around such a crowded area their rules are not such a bad idea...

I have an FN marked high-power, it is my favorite 9mm. I know a lot of folks that own Brownings, many, were made by FN. I have heard our armed forces use a lot of FN guns as well, but those were probably manufactured here.

Do a search on Wades Eastside Guns in Bellevue, WA on this forum and/or other fourms. Lot's of feedback to be found. I use DJ's in Bothell. They charge $30 on used guns and 10% on new guns for transfers. There may be others around that are cheaper though.

Washington state: Legal to own a suppressor. Legal to attach it to a firearm. Illegal to fire a round through it. You have to drive to Oregon or Idaho to use it. :scrutiny:

Good choice! I've got a .357 S&W snub nose, it is a hand full. I also have a Ruger gp100. I like both. If it is going to be in your purse the Ruger is probably going to be a better choice. It will be easier to shoot and worst case scenario, if you don't have time to draw it, getting clobbered...

I'll admit I have a little more faith in revolvers than I do in autos. I own more autos though, they are great fun at the range. The officer mentioned went up against a guy with a rifle with a hand gun. He was at a serious disadvantage to begin with.
