I recently bought a Whitney Pocket cal .31. It's nice to be able to keep it out on the desk and I'll probably shoot it sometime for fun as well.
The serial markings are mostly the same and I'd like to know how old it might be.
It says 17226 on most places, sometimes with a letter or...

Q- Can you tell what gen or trigger pack comes in a PS90 by the serial number alone? If not what maybe good signs its not the 1st or 2nd gen...all without field stripping it...

SN of the PTR 91 I'm looking at buying is AW22XXX. Heard there were some serial numbers that should be avoided. Not sure if this one is safe.
