Because it's the Philadelphia Inquirer, and were it up to them, they'd have taken every last gun away from us by now.

Man, there are days when I wish I could live in central PA instead of Philly.

Why stop at one gun a month? How about one per year?

I just voted (13OCT, 7:12ET) and the tally was -

Opposed: 737 (72%):D
In Favor: 223 (22%)
Good Idea: 64 (6%)
Undecided: 3 (0%)

While the socialists and other antigun bigots are at it, here are some other swell ideas -

The rest of the month, "The Government" can do as it sees fit. Who in their right mind would agree to that deal? Who wants to live with a part time Bill of Rights?? Yet we are supposed to agree to one gun a month - that's just fine and dandy.

No it isn't.

As far as this one gun a month nonsense, IF WE GIVE "THE GOVERNMENT" THE POWER TO SAY 'ONE' AND WE GIVE THEM THE POWER TO SAY 'NONE'.

Don't ever forget that.
