I have a '70's era 10/22 that I have been playing around with for years. It was a miserable little beast as it came out of Ruger's box but it has undergone extensive modifications over the years until the only part of it that's still Ruger is the action and bolt. It was so in-accurate that I stuck it back in a corner and left it there for years. Finally I decided to turn it into a good shooter and have done so. All it took was money, time, and small amount of skill with tools. I have built three different stocks for it but have become somewhat bored with the gun and am considering another stock. I'm mulling over building stock #4 or purchasing the Kinetic Research Bravo chassis.

I would like to hear of anyone's experience with this chassis, the good, bad, or ugly. I don't really want to drop $300+ dollars on something and find it has a glitch I can't live with. I know I can build another stock that will duplicate the Bravo closely but I like the looks of the red Chassis.

I don't have any hands on experience with the KRG Bravo, I've just been lusting after one for my R700 for awhile. They're supposed to be a quality piece of kit.

If you saved all the old take-off pieces, I'd be tempted to buy an aftermarket 10/22 action, move all the go-fast parts over and rebuild the original carbine.

No experience but it looks cool. I built one last year on a Nordic chassis with a KIDD mid-weight barrel because I wanted to use AR furniture. Wish I'd used the UBR stock instead.

If you’re looking for something different, you could always go with an HTA 90/22 bullpup conversion.
