10/22 only likes high velocity ammo?

Thanks. Re cleanliness, just got it back fully cleaned from the gunsmith with a new extractor. Took it out and it couldn't handle CCI standard velocity -- one round ended up jammed perpendicular to the bore. Aguila cycled fine. Seemed strange.

Call Ruger customer service. They will fix it. 22s can be ammo sensitive but you should be able to run more than one type.

/I do not understand why you'd pay someone for something you could and should do yourself... OP, in the time you've spent on this thread, you could have watched a couple youtube videos and learned all the ins and outs of how the 10/22 goes together, and become as (or more) knowledgeable as whoever you paid to clean it for you..
