adolphus, first thing to do before any of that, is to go to the rimfirecental site, look at the top of the page, go to Weaponcraft, and get a performance package, for about 20 to 30 dollars, replace these parts yourself , in about 15 mins. then get a hold of Mr. H. , here in Houston, or one of the other places, and mail off your trigger group to get a decent trigger job done. mr. h. does it for 45-50 dollars, it is fantastic, and he uses no aftermarket, non ruger parts, just what you send him. he has been doing trigger jobs for 40 years. So for under 100 dollars , you will increase your shooting joy, and accuracy on this weapon tenfold. Then do all the other stuff, but my next step after those would be to get a hold of Randy at CPC, send him your rifle, and have him true up , square up the bolt/ carrier, chamber/ bbl face, etc. that job is about 80- or so bucks.
