I have a ruger 10/22 target tactical with a Nikon prostaff bdc scope on it, that I have been thinking about replacing the stock on.
Not that there is anything wrong with the Hogue, but I would like to have something nicer but I am having a tough time getting information. Can anyone tell me the benefit of having a thumbhole stock over a sporter stock? And of course if you have a stock that has worked well for you please name it, I am looking for ideas here (post pics if you got them).
This is really just a plinking rifle for me, I don't have any requirements for what kind of stock other than I'm looking for a wood one.
Thanks,
