I have a Browning pump 10 gauge that I am interested in using for deer this fall. Ruling out a rifled barrel, which choke tube should I use or no?

Thanks, Carl

wow you must be a extremely recoil tolerant to shoot 10ga slugs.

For slugs, you never want to use tight chokes, so you'll want to stick with improved cylinder or cylinder.

Thanks guys, I hope it'll only take a modest amount of practice to become proficient enough to hit the vitals at 50 yards. The primary reason for my question is how choke tubes affect accuracy of slugs at range. I hope to have already purchased a rifled barrel before season opens and plan to hunt an area that is only open to shotgun. If not, I'll have to make use of what I have got. This gun is my goose/turkey/duck scattergun usually. I am getting a little "too good" and would like to handicap myself to increase the skill level required to effectively take deer. Thanks again for your input.
