Okay, here is the situation: A tornado has completely destroyed your house, you and your family have barely made it out alive. A local church is providing you with clothes, food and water. You have a small RV/tent to live in. The insurance company is overwhelmed and admits it may take several weeks (maybe even months) to get you a check. The local church has also given you a hundred dollar bill, all your needs are taken care of except defense. What do you buy?
Here are the rules, you have only $100 that's it so you can't buy a gun that is 99.00 + tax. You find ONE box of good ammo in the rubble that was once your home. This ammo can be ammo you have, or ammo you would want for the gun you choose. It can be anything but there is only ONE box of it. SO if you choose a good JHP then you are limited to whatever comes in the box like a box of hornady critical defense comes in 20 so you only have 20.
I know what I would choose but I am going to wait till I see what others have to say and what they would get.
EDIT TO ADD: MODS this is not a SHTF scenario, it is a very real possibility for some who live in tornado high risk areas.
