Took a little time today to do some further testing with 44-77 using the new paper patch bullet I got Buffalo Arms build the blocks for, and Olde Eynsford powder.
The load was that .434-470 bullet wrapped in 8 # seth cole paper , seated atop 76 grs Olde E 1.5, a muzzleloader original felt wad and a wad punched from rubber cork gaske material, all crammed into Jamison cases and primed with a br 2 primer.
My wife was shooting her Winchester bpcr 45-70 loaded with 39 grs bh209, a .060 fiber wad, and the saeco 645 bullet lubed with bullshop nasa lube. Stuffed into RP case and primed with federal 215M primer.
Wind was a bit to deal with , at the firing point we had a 7 oclock from 3-15 mph, but at the target it was full value at 15+. Mirage was running across the target at about a 45 degree angle from left to right.
All in all pretty happy with the way things worked.

If I count correctly, you have marked 15 shots. Not sure how big the metal sheet is but for using new powder and bullet, I'd be happy with it. 15 MPH is a pain to deal with. Good shooting.

Thanks Strawhat. That steel is 4x8.
With the wind the way it was, about the time we'ld get on target , then it'ld change up and either start kicking the bullets over the top, or dropping them low.
I'm really tickled with the 44-77, it's been a real easy keeper, so long as the bullets are either 1.1 or 1.35 inches in length, and it doesn't matter whether they are patched or a greaser. It also said it was going to lay down and puke if I fed it any more Schuetzen 1f. But hasn't had any problems with any Goex, or KIK , or Schuetzen 2f.
