Just kidding.

I place a very high value on things I learn here. More collective knowledge and experiences among the members than you will find anywhere else, along with enlightening and sometimes, quite spirited debate.

hahahahaa...thanks for the morning humor, everyone. :D

<oooohhhhh...celebrated '1000' too hard...ohhhhhh my head....>

How do you find time to "work" :confused:
Hmm. The real question is, how do I find time NOT to work, so that I can post so much on THR?

Being in business for myself, I work 10-14 hour days, 6 days/week. {On the seventh day, I try to keep it to only 7. Here it is, Friday night, and I'm at work. Did I mention: this is a new business, still trying to make it pay the rent...}

So, the way I deal with that much responsibility is to take frequent breaks during the day to visit this forum to discuss one of my favorite topics: guns and things related to guns.

That makes so much work tolerable.

:D

PS: I confess that while out on errands earlier, I stopped by my local gun shop to fondle a Tikka T3 in .308. Oh, baby...:evil:

Awesome...... I'm on no.2 I'll get there some year!! COOKIE
Welcome to THR. :)

Hey, all you need for 1000 in a year is about 2.75 posts per day. That's easy ... and fun!

Dude, you need to get out more.:scrutiny:
I agree, hso.

And one day soon, I hope to do just that.

But my basic life strategy is this: don't play until the camp is storm worthy.

Until storm worthiness {to coin a phrase} is achieved, keep nose to grind stone.

My camp here - my business, my studio, my living quarters - has been in disarray for months during a transition into a new space, remodeling, starting up a new set of workshops (happening now...).

While getting about the task of storm worthiness, I've occupied my random, moments - five here, 15 there, 39 here - on THR.

Rarely sufficient time to 'get out' for an extended R&R - that requires at least a day the way I do it (which, may indeed, be different from the way you do it), - but always enough to entertain myself, to educate myself about tools that will be useful and fun when I DO get to the point where I can get out more.

At that time, I will not want to spend time on this forum, because I will be OUT.

Until then, the doctor is IN.

;)

PS: how's that purple gun?
