I'm looking for a 1911 reciever in 10mm. I aquired a longslide with a breech face cut for 10mm. I'm having a heck of time finding a reciever for it though. Anyone know who makes them other than STI or Fusion. I'd like to stay away from ramped barrels if I can.

I think STI or Fusion are about it.
Ramped barrels are a good thing to have at 10mm pressure levels. Unlike a standard 1911 barrel, they allow a fully supported chamber.

I'm asking 'cuz I do not know the answer - why would a Caspian with a ramped barrel cut not work?

Why the workup over ramped barrels?
If I were building a 10mm I wouldn't mess with that either. None of my 10mm 1911's have ramped barrels, never had a problem with brass weakening etc.
The real problem with an unsupported chamber is when some pretend gunsmith with a Dremel decides to do a ramp polish job that takes out half the chamber
