10mm: Glock 20 or Kimber 1911

Is this a beautiful thing or what?

Well, there is nothing wrong with a beautiful gun. But, most of the time, I'd rather have a gun that works all the time. That, would be the Glock.

When I had the Kimber guy go off on me because I didn't break it in correctly so as to not have so many problems with feeding, I quickly told him that I have a much larger gun buying budget than most, but no more of it would go towards Kimbers. I like a gun that shoots when I pull it out of the box. Not one I have to pamper and hope it gets broken in to the point of being reliable.

I know what people mean when they say they don't like the feel of the Glock 20. It took me a long time before I bought one. Now, I wear two of them most of the time. It is accurate and dependable.

I haven't got a bad thing to say about my Glock 20. The Kimber is straight up gorgeous, but the Glock is an all-function workhorse.

My Dan Wesson Razorback. I would go with a DW rather than Kimber and I've owned both....

Dan Wesson! I've had too many problems with Kimbers and will never own another.

The Kimber is the way to go. In my opinion its not even right to mention the name crock with any Kimber.
Most people like at least one thing and I like the 1911.
