I just fired my new to me Kimber Stainless Target II 10mm. It was flawless with the Kimber factory magazine however the 2nd magazine it came with was not a Kimber mag. It has "patented" on the base plate and no other markings. It would fail to feed the last round every time I fired it.

I have 2 questions. What is the make of the aftermarket magazine and who else makes reliable 10mm 1911 magazines. Thanks.

I dont have anything usefull to add but...
I just looked that gun up, that is one stellar looking piece!

I have 2 of the Chip McCormick Shooting Star 10mm mags for my DW CBOB and I hate them.

The plastic baseplate is way too big, and about 60% of the time the last round does not feed. As a result, they are range mags only and I cannot carry them.

For the price, I found the stock DW mags to be best. They are $33 each from CZ, and are about the same price as the Chip McCormicks. Both hold 9 rounds BTW.

Check out Midway.com...they have some of the Kimber mags for sale as well.

I just read multiple reviews from sites selling the magazines. Reviews by shooters who have tried different magazines. It appears the Kimber is much more reliable with Kimber factory magazines. The DW appears to be much more forgiven. So I ordered more Kimber magazines. I am going to stay away from the 9 rounders for now. Thanks all for the input.

i used mec-gar in my eclips e2
try them mcormic of good also , but if want to spend the money wilson has 10mm mags, but quality costs
