It's time for me to start handloading for my 10mm Witness now that it has passed the 200 round "break-in Period", so I have a few questions.
I am making rounds for hunting pigs and deer and was planning on using 165gr bullets, but it seems most people are using 180 or 200gr. Is the 165gr Golden Saber inadequite for hunting? Would a 180gr bullet be a better choice?
Does anyone have any IMR-800X load data for a 165gr bullet? I looked at the IMR web site and they have data for 155gr and 180gr bullets, so from that I deducted that a load for a 165gr might be between 8.4 and 9.4gr of 800X. Does that sound reasonable?
Thanks for any help.
