That was kind of the poster's point. Introduced in 1983, the 10mm has been around over 20 years now, bit long to be referred to as a fad.1911's a fad? WOW! That seem's to be a very long running fad if you ask me!
If you do not reload, just order online from Double Tap ammo. McNett produces very good quality ammo!If you reload, you should absolutely get one. If you do not reload...
DT's 135gr Noslers leave the muzzle at 1600fps out of a G20. Jeez...I'm beginning to sound like a DT shill. Pssst... McNett...how about sending me a free box or two for all these promotion of your 10mm? Any chance of that?I have a local reloader who also shoots/loves 10mm and he has made some 135gr nosler hp at 1550fps that are, you should excuse the expression, a blast to shoot.
You are right, sir! Here's one fine example, the S&W 610:The mod who moved this from the general handgun forum must not have realized it's available in a few revolvers.
Nope. That's just another myth that refuses to die. When comparing the hottest factory loads (e.g., Double Tap and Buffalo Bore), the 10mm is roughly equal to the .357 Magnum (with the .357 Magnum having a slight, but insignificant advantage). The .41 Magnum energy levels easily exceed 10mm levels (to the tune of ~50%). The 10mm is the autoloader equivalent of the .357 Magnum--nothing more, nothing less.Power level is closer to a .41 mag revolver and the G29 is probably even a better gun than the G20.
I want a G29, can't resist much longer
