So, I haven't been able to find a rifled slug barrel for my 20ga 11-87 that has the rifled sights. I can't seem to find one anywhere, and I see Hastings doesn't even make one...Any idea why these can't be found? Does anyone have any experience with these, are they accurate? I don't want the cantilever scope style, as I am gonna use this as kind of a closer type range deer gun. Should I just use an improved cylinder, and rifled slugs? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If ranges are short (<50 yards, or so) cheap rifled slugs will probably serve you well. I think you can get a set of rifle sights that will attach to your vent rib (like turkey sights) to aid in sighting. You may even play with the choke tube to see which groups best.

There are some makers of rifled choke tubes that will allow the use of the sabot slugs, too.

Apparently the 29563, or whatever number that was is no longer a good number, I found one of those yesterday, and Remington's customer service said it won't work on the new 11-87's...Using an Improved cylinder and rifled slugs, best I can get is a 8" group @ 100yds
