I have an old Lee 12 ga and 20 ga reloaders that got handed down after grandad died, I'm thinking of starting to load my own 12 and 20 ga. shells to stockpile them. When reloading 12 or 20 ga shells could I use a a conventional black powder mold to cast the pellets to be loaded. Make my own homemade buckshot. Have some .36 or .44 call pellets in some homemade shells.

00 buck is pretty much the same as a .31 cal black powder ball. .36 and .44 would be much larger. While you could get a mold that would throw a .31 cal ball it seems like a lot more trouble than just buying a bag of buckshot ready to load.
