Hi I am asking this for a friend who trains duck dogs. If he loads a primer and say 10 grains of Green Dot and a wad, no shot would the wad have a good chance of staying in the barrel? Or does anyone have a recipe for this type of load? Thanks Mac

Just a 209 primer by itself should get a pups attention.

Green Dot + only a wad has no chance of burning with a bang a tall.

Yea I'm with RC a 209 primer should be his attention.

I know popping off #11 caps, got my dog to stop and look. And he was a dog that I say this "you can't fix stupid". His brother was the smart one out of the litter, he became an Amish dog, and when the they were doing hay the dog say the spokes of the wagons and thought he could bite them as they were moving, well he did, and got run over and died. And women of those "smart" genes were in my dog too. But he didn't do anything that dumb.

When I was running raccoons I would have a shock collar on him and he would come back to me and wanted shocked. He thought the shock was a reward. He didn't want a treat, he wanted a shock. Like i said "you can't fix stupid"
