Precision Delta has a 124 JHP that I have used for a couples years. I can usually find them on sale for $89/1k if I buy 2k. And free shipping.

Recently I bought a box of 124 gr. XTPs. The other day I started comparing the 2 bullets. Both have much the same measurements within a few thousandth of an inch.
OAL, Hornady is at .573" and P.D. is at .578". Both bullets have an included angle of 28-30 degrees. Both have the same bearing surface length.
The Precision Delta is made for match shooting per their website. But it makes for a lower cost to practice with a similar bullet.
Precision Delta is on the left and the Hornady is on the right.

Just something I figured someone may find of use. :)

I'm going to load some up along with the XTPs, in 357 Sig, to see how they do

I like the 124 grain XTP in my 357 SIG ..... Those Precision Delta looks very good and much less $$....

May have to give those a try .....Thanks for checking them out .....

Hornady makes HAP bullets for exactly this purpose. It's simply an XTP without the skives to allow the bullet to expand.

I'm new to the SIG, so I was pleasantly surprise when the 2 bullets were that close. I needed a bullet that has plenty of data, until I get some experience under my belt.

I took that into consideration before posting. I have never bought any HAPs. So I'm not downing them in any way. The Precision Deltas just has a better all around price. It's up to what a guy wants to shoot I guess. :)

Hey, where's my optical comparator? No fair!

That is an awesome toy to have access to.

I know, I cheated a little. :D
It's actually an old dinosaur, with the old mercury bulbs. No digital readouts, all vernier. But it sure helps the ol' eyes.
