View attachment 1128799 View attachment 1128800 I got my Crosman 1377 pellet pistol in the mail today. Terrible timing, had a napping 2 yr old in my lap and the guy knocked on the door and woke her up. Signature required, and he had to scan my ID with an electronic gizmo to satisfy delivery requirements. No more nap after that. My Barra Schofield from the same vendor, on the same order, came in a different package and was just left on the porch. Something strange is happening there. Anyhoo…

I got the package and when I opened it up I was immediately a bit underwhelmed. I have large hands and the grip is kinda similar to a beretta neos so it feels odd in the hand but not terribly awkward. I quickly got over that, but it is nice to know a good comparison when buying online.

Variety of pellets at hand, I just grabbed the bulk pack of Crosman domed pellets that were on clearance. I clearly made a good choice on that selection. The package shows different velocities for 3, 6, and 10 pumps I believe, so I settled on 5 pumps as a first time run and ran with it. I shot it a dozen times, but only the first 6 were at the target. It was just superb accuracy. Shoots high from the factory, but not a big deal. It’s a 1 ragged hole gun at the 6 yard distance from the trampoline (table in this instance) to the fence where I put the target. My first couple shots I was getting used to the grip and called the shots right. They were, but only a slight amount. I was shooting rocks, and sticks, and having fun quickly. This gun makes me wish I had bought one 20 years ago.

Mine does to. My rear sight was set as low as it will go from the factory.
At 10 yards with 4 pumps it was hitting the bullseye if I held at 6:00 on bullseye.
Target was between 10 and 15 yds, I didn't measure it.
This is the first rifled barrel air pistol I've owned and it's also a winner. Hope the 2240 is also.
I had some gift cards for Amazon to use up so I bought these. Both have rifled barrels.

I got my American Classic and 2240 last week. American Classic is 17.7 Cal. I had the American Classic out for the first time yesterday.
Daisy pellets didn't shoot as good as the Gamo Tomahawks did.
American Classic like the Tomahawks I think. They are a little heavier.
The upper set of holes in the bullseye were 4pumps, the lower set was 3 pumps with the tomahawks. This is off of a good stable tree limb rest. First shot was way left, that was me.

Trigger is a little creepy but I'm getting use to it.
I haven't shot my 2240 yet, both air pistols are going to the range with me today as soon as I get my laundry done.
Curious to see the difference between the 17 American Classic and the 22 cal 2240 Co2. Both are Crosman and both are new.

pump crossman pistol.jpg I've heard these are loud air pistols, I'll find out today.
I can't shoot them in my back yard today. PO-PO is sitting in Church parking lot behind my house watching traffic. I live in town.

Just got back from the range.
Gamo ballistic tip pellets definitely won the accuracy contest in American Classic. 7 yds rested.

The 2240, it didn't like the flat nose Daisy pellets I had. They were the only 22 cal pellets I had with me. I need to get some of the Crosman Premier domed pellets and also see if Gamo make the ballistic tips in 22 and try them.
