14" or 18" barrel for patrol shotgun?

Nemoaz: Both are rifle sighted Remington Barrels. I believe with Imp. cyl choke.The longer distance you mentioned the 14" WERE dropping hits, but with slugs at that range.Also , overall the 18" barrels threw tighter buck [atterns at 20-27 yards. Don't ask me why!
