148 grain plated DEWC in 38 special

Have only been able to find cast data for this weight projectile and will be shooting these in a 6" Gp100 so was looking to see if anyone has any experience with these. I have these powders to work with:
231
Bullseye
Unique
700x
Cfe Pistol
Trail Boss
Titegroup

Treat them just as you would a cast bullet, same powder charges. In my case 3.0gr of Bullseye....

Cast data is what you need. Plated bullets are not jacketed. And it's 2.7 of Bullseye. snicker.

I use the same thing. Great load. I also like 4.0 grains of 231.

2.7 gr Bullseye is my load but 231 should also work nicely.
Although the prevailing knowledge is to use cast data, I would bump the charge up slightly on plated with very light loads. Would sure hate to stick a bullet in the barrel of a revolver. I use the 2.7 load in a Smith 52.

Have shot a bunch of the Berry's plated 148 gr DEWC with 2.8 gr of Bullseye. Good plinking round.

W231 will work very well with a charge of 3.4gr under that plated 148gr DEWC.
