Today I got two SW mags supposedly for the model 59. The metal bottom plates are marked "9MM S&W". There is only one hole for the mag latch and it is on the left side. There are two witness holes on the right side, one on the left side. There are no model markings. To my surprise, these mags easily take 16 rounds. They appear to be in good shape and not worn. I got these mags for my Kel Tec P-11 and they lock in easily and well. Does anyone else have SW mags that take 16 rounds instead of 15?

    Thanks,

    Drakejake

MecGar made some that did the same thing. They were sold as Mec's and Pachmyers also. Look like they are SS construction...................

    Shoot well.

I believe Ramline made 17rd. mags for them but they had plastic base plates if I recall correctly. Marcus

    Neat!

    I've never had a S&W 15-rnd mag that would hold 16 rounds.

Now, those factory 20-rounders on the other hand . . .
