I think that the Smith and Wesson 2206 .22 pistol is one of the better handgun values. This is a high quality stainless semi-auto with a great trigger and excellent accuracy. You can get one for perhaps half the price of the more prestigious model 41. During the AWB, 12 round mags for this pistol were scarce and expensive but now you can get them at decent prices right from Smith. I have several. I notice that this mag has a very large red plastic follower. Is there any reason why this follower could not be cut down so that the mag can hold 13 or 14 rounds? Whether it would be worthwhile to do this is a different question.
