I recently purchased a Remington 870 in 16ga and would like to have the barrel tapped for choke tubes. I am having a hard time finding a shop to send the barrel off for this service. Does anyone have a gunsmith or shop that they would recommend?

Thanks in advance

chokes

You might want to contact Chuck Boswell at Kicks Ind. They manufacture chokes for all your needs. Been using their chokes for at least 10 years. Have had them thread several shotguns. They also do forcing cones. They have several styles such as High Flyer for steel, BUCK kICKER FOR BUCKSHOT, a sporting clays series, turkey tubes, as well as card shooter tubes. If I remember correctly Mr. Charlie threads 16 gauge in invector. Any ways give them a shout. You can also fimd yjem on the web Kicks, Comp n choke. they will reopen the first week in Jan. as they close every year at this time. good luck and have a Happy New Year
