.17 HMR on Squirrels

Have any of you guys used the .17 HMR on grey or fox squirrels? I think head shots could be most devastating. I am asking not because I want a .17 HMR, but because the new .17 Mach 2 could be a great big woods squirrel caliber.

If any of you have used the HMR for this purpose, what were your results and recommendations.

I use the .17 HMR on rock squirrels, but they are more like rats than game animals, so I don't shoot for the head.

I think head shots could be most devastating.

ANY hit with the little hummer is devastating. I haven't had a bullet exit yet.
