17 Mach II in HMR Cylinder

I know you can get the Single Six with the 22lr and the 22 WinMag cylinders.I have seen the 17 HMR listed but why could you not shoot the 17 Mach II in the HMR?I know it is too short and cases would split but would it work ok?I have not seen one advertised with the Mach II>
