Ive been wanting one so bad the last week its been hurting, So i borrowed enough cash to head to a gun show in Columbus,Ohio tomorrow at Westland mall if anyone else is reading and didn't know.
Of course i can buy at a local shop.

Im looking mainly at the Savage MODEL 93BTVSS with thumb hole stock, It can be blued as i don't care about that. Black is always a good thing in a rifle imo.
Ill even settle for a normal stock in wood or synthetic also if its the right deal, But the deal breaker is i want a bull barrel regardless of what i buy.
I know the Savage has the accutrigger which is supposedly sweet. I can not comment anything about a Marlin in .17 as no shop around me carries them much. So if your a big Marlin fan and know some things you can tell me important about it pls inform me as an informed decision is always best.
The guns purpose will mainly be bench-rest target shooting and maybe some backwoods crow plinking. But 200 yard bulls is my goal.
Are either popular enough guns that thier is a decent after market for stocks so i can just buy a good gun with a no so good stock and change it later?
Any last ditch efforts to sway me to go with .22WMR? Isn't much difference in the two calibers i know of. Ive never shot either so this will be a learning experience.
No .22lr discussion pls,i own a rifle and pistol both in that caliber.
I have an excellent Nikon buckmaster 3-9x40 scope i can swap off my .22lr M&P15 and put a lesser one on that.
