18 Brinell LSWC with Trail Boss in a 44 Magnum

I bought some Trail Boss to mix it up. I was wondering if I could shoot this harder bullet at lower velocity for fun, and if it would bump up, or would it just flame cut?

Does anyone have any experience with this. If needed I will order some Brinell 12 bullets if you guys say there will be issues.

The reason for Trail Boss is because I am going to use this in a 30-30 I have as well. I am not getting good groups with lower loading using Unique. So I thought Trial Boss might help me out there as well.

Don't know... why not load 10 rounds with a mid-level load and try it? (And then let us know how it works!)

Done. Also loaded up some .308 110 grain Speer HP for my 30-30 with 9.0 grains of Trail Boss. I just love hand loading.
