180 gn XTP 44 mag - Hornady loads please

My Lyman's has load data for a similar bullet, but I require Hornady load data for
Unique and, if they list it, Bullseye too.
I'm interested in start and max loads.
Until the component supply is more abundant, this is what I have too work with.
I know the data has changed from editions through the years.
I just 4 weeks ago bought a 629-1 3" stainless, and just 4 days ago got my dies and turret.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hornady #4 shows that bullet with Unique.
Start = 11.4
MAX = 13.5.

Hornady #6 shows Unique:
6.9 Start.
14.4 MAX.

SO, take your pick I guess.

I doubt you will find any 180 grain XTP .44 Mag data for Bullseye.

It is way too fast burning for that application.

However with that said, 2004 Alliant data says 11.5 Bullseye is a MAX load with an unspecified 180 grain JHP.
REDUCE 10% for a starting load.

Or, you could just use the data in The Lyman Manual for the Speer bullet.

If it were me I would find some H110 or 296 so you can fully appreciate the purpose and performance of those XTP's. Those 180's with one of those 2 powders will really produce some excellent performance. It's been a while since I ran those 180's across the chronograph, but I think I was getting some where around 1700 fps with 180's in my 6'-ish SBH, maybe more. And surprisingly, accuracy was very good with those little guys too. I know the data is stating almost 1800 fps, but published velocities are hit and miss.

I've ordered the Missouri Kieth's.
If they get here soon enough, I'll have some xtp's left for when I get some better powder.

My guess for Bullseye with a 180gr XTP in 44mag would be 8.5-11.0gr but I would only go there for a 3" or less barrel.

11.0 grains unique under a .44 180 xtp (or rem sjhp) will get you about 1250 fps from 4 inch 44 mag. 44 mag cases, fed 150 primer and firm crimp. This has been extremely accurate in every 44 mag tried in, that doesn't have the larger cylinder throats.

Bulkier fast and medium burn powders can do extremely well for moderate loads in the 44 mag, especially Red Dot, Hp-38 and unique.
