All barrels on Trapdoors have a muzzle diameter of .730 so if yours does not measure that number it has been altered.
The distance from the front of the front sight base to the face of the muzzle should be 1.24". If different, the barrel has been altered.
All the barrels were crowned and the radius of the crown is .024".
The inspectors cartouceh and the firing proof cartouche are both common and correct for the Trapdoor. The Detroit Commerce touch mark is new to me. I suggest you get in touch with Al Frasca and see what he can tell you about that one.
Thanks Straw...NE Ohio eh? Anywhere by my favorite town of Port Clinton? Perry is the Mecca...It is as I suspected...front sight base to muzzle=.75 in
Interesting bit on the "Detroit Dept of Commerce" stamp. The rifle was picked up by a Detroit City Cop somehow. It was rumored to have been used in the early years of the auto industry to guard $$$ on the way to the bank. Remember the days before e-transfer and Credit Cards? Ha Ha

The bore appears to be decent so with a clean muzzle, I would expect it to shoot well. Have you shot it yet? I prefer blackpowder and soft lead, just like the Armory specified. I am happy with 3 MOA but many guys are getting better. I just prefer hunting accuracy so do not try to make it into rocket science.
