Had been so long since I posted, I had to make a new thread.
Don't know how to attached the old thread, but it had the same name.

OK guys, its been awhile but I have talked with Bert Hartman about this rifle.
If ya'll don't know who he is, well he's one of the gurus for Gunbroker.com
I have also gotten a letter from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. It says my rifle was made in 1912. No other information is available. But Burt took it from there and said it looks as though it is what they call a sporting rifle, with a 3/4 magazine, shotgun buttstock, it still has the notch in the top of the stock so I don't think it has been cut down. I had a beautiful padded buttplate added as I decided not to install a plastic one.

This could be going up for sale in the near future.

That would have been worth $700-900 with the original butt plate made of steel. Maybe it's worth $500 like that.

Thanks Abel, I have been looking for the right one. Elusive.
Bought a plastic one, didn't look or seem right.
At least the pachmayr seems alot better than the ugly thing it had.
