does anyone know where i can find a video od complete disassembly and reassembly of the colt 1903 380

Unless you are experienced and mechanically inclined, I'd warn you to not completely disassemble a 1903/1908. They are notoriously hard to reassemble.

I know, not the answer you are looking for, but I don't know where a video is to show a complete breakdown and reassembly of the old Colt. I just figured I'd throw a warning out.

Hammer or hammerless?

In either case, check out the resources at www.coltautos.com, especially the owners' manuals.

If it is .380, it is the Model 1903 hammerless pocket pistol (the Model 1903 is .32).

There are web sites with instructions, but they all leave out one little trick and some use the "big hammer" approach.

I agree with Buffy; unless something is broken and needs replaced, stick to field stripping for that pistol. It comes apart easy and goes together hard.

As mentioned above, don't do it. Not necessary for lifelong maintenance.

Don't disassemble a Colt 1903 completely unless you have a lot of patience. I did it once, it won't happen again.
