1911 9x23 lugs

Leaning toward a Colt 1911 in 9mm and adding a fitted barrel in 9x23. Prefer the 9 over the 38 Super route for ammo availability and cost issues. So, anyone with a converted 1911 having any issues with the lugs? Thanks.cwd

I have had a Colt Series '80 9x23 with an added Kart 9x19 barrel since 2001. No issues with the lugs as long as the barrel has been properly fit.

Thanks-that's what I thought I understood as the situation, which is why I (a) am moving ahead on this project and (b) will get a barrel that needs fitting and have it fitted. Little more money than just reaming a 9mm barrel on the front end but likely worth it.cwd
