Maybe its like knife collecting with the colorful funky celluloid handles and all. I like that stuff on knives but why would you deface a pistol in that way?

Oh, man. Isn't that like sacrilege or blasphemy or something? I could understand on a SA or Kimber or even and STI but a COLT?

BTW thanks.

:what:

Have we found the criminal who is responsible for these atrocities?! Maybe we can get the offender a seat next to Saddam at the war crimes tribunal...

Just like the Beretta grips reminded me of something wacky--bowling balls--these made me immediately think of kilts.

Yes. Now I have the mental image of a kilted, blue-facepainted Scotsman wielding this 1911.

Same here. I imagine there's some clan in Scotland that'd be a wee bit annoyed to see their tartan used so. ;)

Obviously Knute Rockne's handgun?

Gag me with a glock puh-lease. But a 1911?

I would expect something this vulgar from a Packers fan. Certainly. Crass, and socially unrefined, speaks forth from this handgun.

Gipper, taste my shorts, I hope ARMY beats you guys this season...

thats funny Risasi, I'm a packers fan. and its also funny to note that I think thats nice lookin colt.

(let the flames begin)

as i stated int eh Beretta post, THIS gun the Beretta, and about 5 OTHER "similarly desecrated" autos (i believe mainly 1911s and Berettas) are all in one case down at collectors right this minute! so if some of you that might be near houston in the near future want to help "clean up the world" by buying and then either destroying or refinishing these "poor mistreated steel and aluminum children" they are readily available for such a venture......

at prices that will make you puke harder and longer than sight if the guns EVER will!!

These remind me of a Murray State gunsmith school student. He used to rework junk into fancy works of art. I saw a rusty, survivor of a fire Colt SAA that was brought back to life by him. This resembles his work.

That gun is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Find out who did the custom work so I can send my Kimber there!!!

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:neener:
