I guess I just missed out on some stuff. Couldn't figure out what the problem was..what was causing it..or what the fix was.
I guess 'occasional problems' would be more difficult to follow than 'repeatable problems'.
If wraping the slide of an assembled 1911 in a towel and smacking it up against a tree makes a problem go away, even if done by Jim Clark Sr., I'd still like to know what caused the difficulty and what can be done to prevent it in the future.
Just trying to understand the problem, the cause, and the fix.
