I have a Kimber 1911 Custom Pro Aegis II with a 5 inch barrel in 9mm.

When I got it at the shop the salesmen told me that it's going to jam a bit at first until I put 300-400 rounds through it.

I have now put over 700 rounds through it and I don't think I have gone through a magazine without it jamming:fire:. When it ejects the round it flips it to fast so that it does almost a full rotation and it is stuck so tight that I have to take out the magazine and mess with it for like 10-25 seconds to fix it.

It shoots amazing but it just jams ALL the time.

Any ideas tips similar problems?:what:

Well to be honest it has a variety of problems but some are. It "stovepipes" all the time. And sometime the claw won't pull the casing out of the chamber.

It was brand new and been cleaned a lot. And retail it was $1,100 but got for $900

Sounds like the extractor needs a little adjustment. I would find a local gunsmith to tune it before I would send it back to Kimber. I'm a bit puzzled by the salesman at the gun shop suggesting that it will jam during the first 300-400 rounds. This is a 1911 not a polymer pocket toy.

OK, so it sounds like there may not be enough tension on the extractor. If you take out the barrel,FLGR, bushing out of the slide so the slide is bare, slip a loaded round under the extractor. Does the extractor hold it if you shake the slide up and down? If the round falls out from the extractor, you need more tension until it'll hold the round but still jiggle with the slide if you shake it.
