Wow feel that Kimber hate, I love Kimber but I voted Nighthawk.

the only 1911, i have seen make it all the way through a training course without issue was a nighthawk. i have seen and played with em, and there is just something about em. if i had that much to spend i would go with the Nighthawk.

never owned a nighthawk.. my kimber hasnt ever given me a problem and i love it. That being said, i still wouldnt give 2K for a kimber

For 2K you have lots of choices. Nighthawk is one great option. Instead of Kimber you could put this up against Wilson, Les Baer, or buy a Colt and have one of the many true custom smiths build to your needs.
