I carry a Kimber Ultra which conceals very well due to the small grip. But I don't always need that maximum concealment and would like the option to have a better grip without changing guns. Does anyone sell a magazine that would effectively extend the grip of my compact pistol to the full-size grip length?
Using my Glock as an example I envision an 8-round magazine with a sleeve at the base to match the shape of the grip frame, similar to using G21 mags in a G30. Wilson Combat website has tons of pieces and parts for 1911 magazines that I have not been able to make sense of.
Can anyone point me to a good resource for this? Are the 7 and 8 rnd 1911 magazines even interchangeable? thanks!
