Up first a picture of the magazines for my Commander, the first 2 are the eight round stainless mags with flat followers that came with the gun, the next is an eight round stainless mag with a rounded follower, the next one is a seven round mag blue with a rounded follower, the last two are seven round blue mags with dimpled flat followers.
The original mags run perfectly as do the others except for the mags with the dimpled followers. When I run the gun with the dimpled follower mags I get last round bolt over base failure to feed.
I'm thinking they may just have weak springs as the gun works fine with the other mags. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I guess I don't understand the different follower types and different designs of the feed lips. Can someone please clear them up for me?

Thanks,
Devon

Yep. Ya need new springs. Might as well gt Wolff 11-pounders. The dimple only keeps the round from jumping the follower or riding ahead of feed position. Bolt-Over Base misfeed is a magazine timing problem.

If you've done the Kool-Aid 20-pound recoil spring in the Commander, it'll make it more likely to do a bolt-over. I don't even like 18-pound springs in'em.
