1911 parts

Hello all....I need help finding parts I have a springfield micro compact 1911 in 45acp. I want to change the hammer and put a beaver tail on it. Ive checked and found plenty of places that sell parts but I am unsure of what to buy since I have a micro compact 1911. Thank you for any help

See if you can find the exact part number from Springfield Armory and then order it from midwayusa or brownells. Or you could just call SA and order it directly from them. I have bought parts directly from SA online before and they weren't any higher than other places.

Hammer and beaver tail are the same as any 1911. They might need fitting to work correctly, like any 1911.

I would urge you to consult a qualified gunsmith, preferably one intimately familiar with 1911s. These are not drop-in replacement parts no matter the description.
