About 2 months ago, I installed a new MSH in my Springfield Loaded. It went in about 3/4 of the way and I used a small brass hammer to tap it the rest of the way in. I noticed the beavertail has some side to side play, and I was wondering if the new MSH could have caused this? I have read that beavertail fit on Loaded models vary a lot. The frame tangs on my gun are overcut. Is the loose beavertail a sign of something wrong with my gun, or is there nothing to worry about? Thanks.

I just checked mine, and they all have about a millimeter of side to side wiggle, and that's with everything stock. I wouldn't worry about it. If the hammer doesn't fall without the beavertail being pressed, then you should be fine. If you're even a little bit concerned about reliability/safety, then wait to load it. Safety first.
