Hi, I live in California in a hippie infested town (great for plinking though).

Ok, now that thats out of the way, does anyone know if the NRA is working to overturn the Assault weapons crap laws that California has? I want to know, so I can support it.

It was tried with Fresno Rifle; 9th Circus ruled 2nd Amendment does not restrict state action. NRA followed it through state courts, but dropped out at 9th Circuit.

I don't really see what that has to do with firearms rights. I doubt the Pink Pistol members who are longtime members of this board's community would either. I'd keep political commentary related to guns and liberties issues, and only that.

There are plenty of gays in SF who are as pro-RKBA as anyone else in the US, or on Planet Earth for that matter. I'm glad they're fighting on the same side I'm on, and guess what, I'm also on their side on gay marriage and other issues close to them.

Who really cares if the gays and lesbians want to get married? It does not effect me directly and what they do in the privacy of their own home is not my business nor do I wish to make it mine.

As for the AWB, we got one here in Northern IL. Anything we can do to get it repealed is good.
