They are marked “Navy Arms” makes me believe they were all supplied at time of purchase, which was the seller’s story to me.Very nice, Hoof. I can't read what it says on the bullet mold and flask, do they say G.U.?
Is it proofed and date coded?Holy Moly! That's a beauty Hoof! I didn't know G.U. made an L&R.
I have a G.U. Navy from 1959. I've been kicking around the idea of turning it into an L&R or maybe even a Dance.
Nice! I have a few early ones also.Hoof, no Sir. No proof marks or date code. The only other markings on the gun, besides the G.U. and Navy Arms, is the number 59 stamped on the face of the cylinder. Also a low serial number of 1379. Which made me believe 1959, possibly 1960. It's a well used gun, with little finish left on it. But it shoots like a dandy!
