Just shot my first GSSF match. It was indoors. It was pretty fun. I scored a 455. Not too bad I guess for a 1st timer with a stock 1st Gen G19 that I bought from a pawn shop 10 years ago. But I know what I'd do next time to bring that score up.
I learned a few things.
1) 15secs is longer than you think.
2) 15secs is shorter than you think.
3) Really need a 3rd mag.
I think next time I'll cough up the extra bucks to shoot with both my 19 and my 26. As it compares to Cowboy (my main game), its not as fun. But its a good little way to spend the morning. It was my first foray into comp. shooting other than CAS. A few of the guys encouraged me to come check out IDPA/IPSC type matches. I reckon I'll get around to checking that stuff out.
