1st semi 4 me

just picked up a new taurus pt140 milliniem(sp) pro
owned a bunch of diff wheel guns but this is my 1st semi.
a couple of ???? how accurate are these guns lets say at 15yrds i know this is not my mag's that i hunt// shoot bowling pins with so what should i expect
an what kind of ammo do u use 4 home defence//concel carry?

I don't know how accurate they are but I like to use the Remington Golden Saber 165 grain 40S&W as a defensive round. I tried the Speer gold dot 155 grain but had a couple of FTF's with it. Not saying anything is wrong with that round it just didn't work for me in my Beretta.
